Improvements
The top mounted fuse
holder and fuse have been removed. There is no longer any need to keep
spare fuses around and worry about making changes in the field. An
internal auto-resetting circuit breaker rated at 6 amps has replaced the
fuse.
The master switch has
been recessed into the box, thus eliminating the guard collar and reducing
the overall length of the box. Also, the switch is less likely to be
accidentally switched.
Changing output #1
from switched to unswitched is now much easier. The previous soldered
jumpers have been replaced with computer type jumpers that do not require
soldering. CLICK

The
box is easier to open for moving jumpers. Simply remove two Philips head
screws and open the box.
Two sides are now tapped
with threaded holes for the belt clip allowing it to be positioned on
either the back or bottom of the box.
The box is now smaller.
By removing the external fuse and recessing the switch, the overall
dimensions are now shorter and narrower than before. |
