We frequently get asked why Remote Audio uses StarQuad cable. Although more expensive, StarQuad cable provides greater rejection of electromagnetic noise. The quad design is effective in reducing induced noise from dimmer packs, fluorescent light ballasts, and AC transformers by as much as 30dB over standard mic cables.
